Registration
Planning your schedule and registering for courses can be a time-consuming
and frustrating task. We recommend that you begin well in advance
of your assigned registration time and make use of the
many resources available to students at CU-Boulder.
Registration FAQ
How Do I Register?
To register via the web, log on to
CUConnect
and choose the "Courses" tab. Scroll down to "Other Academic Tools (PLUS)"
and click on "View Your Profile." Then proceed to "Registration"
(left sidebar).
Preparing to Register
One of the best ways to alleviate stress about registration is
to prepare your schedule well in advance of your registration time
assignment. It is also a good idea to have some backup classes
selected in case your top choice class is already full. The
following resources can be very useful in helping you plan your
schedule:
- Schedule Planner is
an excellent tool to help you plan your schedule. It allows you to search electronically
for a specific course or to search courses by subject, level, availability,
or the time of day the class is offered. Once you find the course
you are interested in you can get useful information, such as the
FCQ (Faculty
Course Questionnaire) results from previous years and prerequisite
requirements that will help you choose the best classes for you.
You also can add classes to your plan to get an idea of what your
overall schedule will look like.
- Online University
Catalog is another great resource. The catalog provides full course
descriptions as well as degree requirements
and a variety of other useful information.
