The College of Engineering and Applied Science at CU-Boulder is a world-class institution that excels in both teaching and research. Our educational programs deliver a strong technical curriculum with many opportunities for interdisciplinary study and hands-on learning.

Beginning with the first year of study, and continuing throughout their undergraduate degree, students can experience the real world of engineering design through the award-winning Integrated Teaching and Learning Program. The ITL Laboratory, with its innovative, modern design, has been called one of the "finer teaching environments on the planet," and its interdisciplinary team-based approach mirrors the way professional engineers investigate and solve problems. Undergraduate and graduate students also have the opportunity to participate in the college's world-class research programs alongside nationally and internationally renowned faculty and the college's government and industry partners. Eighteen interdisciplinary research centers offer opportunities for study and support, while our Discovery Learning Center is the focal point of a college-wide initiative on undergraduate research.

CU engineering students will find a wide array of opportunities that align with their individual interests.
