Interdisciplinary Research Centers - seventeen interdisciplinary research centers bring together faculty, students, and other professional participants

Nanomaterials Characterization Facility - state-of-the-art laboratory open to industry, government and academic researchers throughout Colorado

Research & Development by Students

• Aerospace Engineering Senior Projects - "customers" from both inside and outside the university may propose projects for the two-semester senior projects course sequence
• Computer Science Senior Projects - projects are developed under the direction of the course instructor and members of the sponsoring organization
• ECE Capstone Design  - electrical and computer engineering design projects involving both industrial and academic resources
• Industry/University Cooperative Projects Center in Mechanical Engineering – students work on sponsored projects defined by industry partners
