David DiLaura

DiLaura retired as professor of civil, environmental and
architectural engineering in 2007, after 26 years as the
guiding force behind the lighting engineering program at
CU-Boulder. He was an outstanding teacher and scholar whose
innovative research revolutionized the field of lighting

Dayl Larson

Dayl
Larson is retired from the prestigious Colorado firm H&L
Architecture, where he was a professional architect
specializing in the design of education and health care
facilities for more than 30 years. He and former classmate
George Haller established the partnership in 1962, and grew
it into the successful firm H&L is today.

Kenneth May ―
Industry & Commerce
Kenneth May is a successful engineer and entrepreneur who
has made significant contributions to the field of solar
energy over the last 30 years through his dedication to
solar energy concentration systems. He is currently the
director of the industrial division at Abengoa Solar, a
multinational company that is planning to build the largest
solar power plant in the world southwest of Phoenix. >>More |

Kile Morgan
― Industry & Commerce
Kile Morgan is a
third-generation homebuilder who has excelled in business
and challenged others with the extent of his civic-minded
philanthropy. Morgan is the former president and CEO of
Ponderosa Homes, which under his leadership in the 1980s and
‘90s, built and sold 3,500 homes in the San Francisco Bay

Theodore W. Randolph

Education
A professor of chemical and
biological engineering at CU-Boulder since 1993, Theodore
“Ted” Randolph is a world leader in protein stabilization
and supercritical fluid technology in processes for
enzymatic catalysis, particle formation, and drug delivery.
He is a fellow of the American Association of Pharmaceutical
Scientists and co-directs the Center for Pharmaceutical
Biotechnology, a joint research center involving the

Nguyen
Xuan Vinh ―
Research & Invention, Education
CU-Boulder’s first Ph.D. graduate in aerospace engineering
sciences, Nguyen Xuan Vinh, went on to lead a distinguished
career as a professor at the University of Michigan. He also
has been a leader in the worldwide Vietnamese community,
recognized both for being a champion of the community and
for his literary contributions as a published poet and
