Department Luncheons

Sponsored by IBM, the WIEP hosts eight department luncheons during the academic year, each one featuring different majors. These events are a great opportunity to meet fellow students and to network with industry professionals. Approximately 40-60 people attend each luncheon, where they enjoy a hot meal and a break from their hectic day to socialize with peers, other women from their departments, and women from industry.

Students can discuss course options and get advice, support and encouragement from upper class women, faculty and professionals. This year, potential students and their parents or counselors can join us and meet students and faculty in their department of interest. Open option majors are welcome to attend all lunches that feature departments they are considering as their majors. Look for an invitation via e-mail and remember to RSVP!
